Company History
Insurepair was formed in 1992 by Jim McCann to provide a property repair service for insurance policyholders who had to make a claim. At the time most insurers asked policyholders to obtain estimates from local contractors and send them in to the insurance company. Jim recognised that there was the opportunity to provide a service to local policyholders. By providing the quotations to the insurance company directly and negotiating to be paid directly by the insurer, Insurepair were able to provide a complete service to the policyholder minimising the stress that an insurance claim normally brings.
